On September 4, 2025, at 7:00 PM, a private show of the MSML brand was held. The location of the event was not available to the general public and was only announced to those who received invitations. That's how I found out that the show would be held at Roppongi Hills Arena.
MSML (Music Saved My Life) is a brand founded by three musicians in 2017. The trio, unique in the fashion world, united active musicians of the rock scene, and this distinguishes MSML from traditional brands. Their work combines their personal sound preferences and the spirit of rock music in general.
KOJI, T$UYO$HI and KATSUMA are the designers behind the brand.

KOJI debuted in 2001 as the vocalist for the Japanese mixed-style rock band SCREAMING SOUL HILL. After the band broke up in 2005, he worked as a music mentor in film, filmed commercials and modeled for a brand founded by a longtime friend. In 2017, he became the brand director of MSM. His work combines elements of streetwear and high fashion, creating a style infused with the spirit of 90s alternative rock.
T$UYO$HI is a bassist who has performed with legendary Japanese bands PTP (Pay money To my Pain), The BONEZ and Dragon Ash, as well as a composer and arranger of music. As a fashion enthusiast, T$UYO$HI has an exceptional sense of balance – he combines colors, headwear (such as hats and caps) and sizes. In the rock scene, he developed his own interesting sense of style. At the invitation of his close friend KOJI, he joined MSML, where he continues to create innovative ideas. Notably, his band is the only Japanese band to have officially collaborated with SAINT Mxxxxxx.
The third member of the brand, KATSUMA debuted as the drummer of the band Coldrain in 2007. Although he belongs to a different generation than KOJI and T$UYO$HI, their views on music and fashion are the same. His personal style is typically rocker black, leather and rough boots, but his graphic designs are elegant and original. KATSUMA has worked on the graphics for Myne and KAMIYA, brands headed by designer Kamiya, who works at Tokyo Collection, and was the creative director of the Justin Davis jewelry brand. He also designs his own jewelry brand, KART. KATSUMA's versatility and artistic talent have earned him wide recognition.

MSML held his second show at Tokyo Fashion Week. This time, the theme of the
"Tokyo Rollin'" collection reflected opposites. The sophisticated calm of the city on one side and the chaotic momentum of the streets on the other. All the models dyed their hair pink especially for the show. The lighting design of the venue was also pink and purple. The designers believe that this color best reflects "the current mood of Tokyo."

The show featured many eye-catching pieces, including a crew-neck shirt embroidered with roses and outerwear with the word "Tokyo Rollin'" on the back. I also liked the T-shirt with the word "Know your enemy." And the special bandana design on the lining featured a pattern that showed Tokyo's clean main streets and chaotic alleyways. The theme included the concept of "Keep On Rollin'", declaring the brand's intention to continue in the same vein.
You can watch my report from the show.
